Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin (shaved)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 sweet onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup cremini mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400F and line the basket with air fryer parchment for easier cleanup.
- Add the steak, garlic, salt, pepper, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and olive oil to a large mixing bowl and toss until combined.
- Place the steak mixture in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked.
- Then top the mixture with sliced provolone cheese in a single layer and continue cooking for about 2 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
- Meanwhile, prepare the cheesesteaks. If you like, brush the outsides with butter before filling them up with the steak mixture.
- Use a spatula or tongs to fill the hoagie rolls with the steak and veggies.
- Place the filled hoagies back in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes to warm up.
- Divide the cheesesteaks between 4 plates. If you like, you can top them with parsley.
Notes
- For easier cleanup, use air fryer parchment paper.
