Description

This baked Cajun cod is a flavorful dish that’s quick to prepare and perfect for a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cod fillets about 6 oz each
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt, adjust to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  3. Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels and place them in the dish.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, Cajun seasoning, paprika, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  5. Brush or spoon the mixture evenly over the cod fillets.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
