This baked Cajun cod is a flavorful dish that’s quick to prepare and perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- 4 cod fillets about 6 oz each
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt, adjust to taste
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels and place them in the dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, Cajun seasoning, paprika, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Brush or spoon the mixture evenly over the cod fillets.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
