- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional, if you like it chilled)
Instructions
- Collect all the ingredients to make the blending process easier.
- Place blueberries, banana, rolled oats, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of cinnamon into the blender.
- Cover and blend on high speed until you achieve a smooth and creamy texture, about 1-2 minutes.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk and blend again. If it’s too thin, add more oats or ice.
- Check for sweetness and adjust by adding extra honey or maple syrup if desired. Blend briefly to combine.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass, and enjoy immediately!
Notes
- This smoothie is customizable—feel free to add other fruits or nut butter for extra flavor.
- For a thicker smoothie, use frozen bananas.
