Description
A delicious no-bake dessert made with layers of chocolate cookies, cream cheese, and dulce de leche.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 packages (200g each) chocolate cookies (like Chocolinas or any popular brand)
- 500g cream cheese, softened
- 400g dulce de leche
- 1 cup milk (for dipping cookies)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, dulce de leche, and vanilla extract. Blend well until smooth and creamy.
- Pour milk into a shallow dish. You will dip the cookies in this milk shortly.
- Take one chocolate cookie and dip it into the milk for just a second, ensuring it’s moist but not soggy. Lay it flat at the bottom of your serving dish.
- Take a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture and spread it over the entire layer of dipped cookies.
- Continue the layering process—dipping cookies, laying them over the cream cheese filling, and spreading the mixture—until you’ve used up all ingredients. Aim for at least four layers.
- Once assembled, cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for better texture.
- Before serving, dust the top of the Chocotorta with cocoa powder or sprinkle chocolate shavings to enhance its visual appeal.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the Chocotorta into squares or triangles for serving.
Notes
- For best results, allow the Chocotorta to chill overnight.
- Feel free to customize by adding different flavors to the cream cheese mixture.
