- 3 cups dark chocolate chips (60–70% cacao)
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (plus more for garnish)
- 1 cup pitted dark cherries (fresh or frozen, halved)
- Red food coloring (optional, for swirl effect)
- 1/4 cup cherry preserves or jam (optional, for more cherry intensity)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal. Lightly grease the paper.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter. Stir constantly until smooth.
- Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract, sea salt, and red food coloring (if using).
- Gently fold in halved cherries and cherry preserves. Stir carefully to keep cherries intact.

- Chill in the fridge for at least 3–4 hours or freeze for 1 hour until fully set.
- Lift out, slice into squares using a hot sharp knife, and wipe the blade between cuts for clean slices.
Notes
- This fudge can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- For a more intense cherry flavor, you can add more cherry preserves.
- Experiment with different types of chocolate chips if you want to adjust the sweetness.
