- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: ½ teaspoon chili powder or cayenne pepper for heat
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3 minutes.
- Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. This helps the skin become crispy.
- Season the chicken: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture evenly over the chicken thighs.
- Place in the air fryer: Arrange the chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook: Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken and cook for another 8–10 minutes until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
