Description

A versatile pancake mix that can be stored for future use.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 cups pancake mix (above)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 2 1/4 cups buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients and store in an airtight container or zip-loc bag.
  2. Pre-heat the Griddle or Pan over medium-low heat.
  3. Combine 2 1/4 cups of pancake mix, two eggs, shortening, and buttermilk.
  4. Pour 1/2 cup of batter onto the griddle (makes large pancakes) and cook until bubbles form on top. Flip and continue to cook through (2 minutes).
