- 1 package (15 count) mini phyllo pastry shells, thawed
- 8 oz Brie cheese, rind removed (optional), cut into 15 small cubes
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional, for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted (optional, for brushing phyllo)
- Pinch of salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to phyllo shell package instructions.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped cranberries, honey, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place a cube of Brie cheese in each phyllo shell, then top with the cranberry mixture.
- Brush the tops of the filled phyllo shells with melted butter if desired.
- Arrange on a baking sheet and bake until golden and heated through.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
