Description

Delicious mini phyllo pastries filled with creamy Brie and tart cranberries, perfect for appetizers or holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (15 count) mini phyllo pastry shells, thawed
  • 8 oz Brie cheese, rind removed (optional), cut into 15 small cubes
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted (optional, for brushing phyllo)
  • Pinch of salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to phyllo shell package instructions.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped cranberries, honey, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place a cube of Brie cheese in each phyllo shell, then top with the cranberry mixture.
  4. Brush the tops of the filled phyllo shells with melted butter if desired.
  5. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake until golden and heated through.
  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
