Description
A delicious baked mostaccioli dish with ricotta and mozzarella cheese.
Ingredients

- 12 oz mostaccioli pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Cook mostaccioli in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, and half the mozzarella until creamy.
- Fold cooked pasta into the sauce mixture until fully coated.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Layer half of the pasta mixture in a greased baking dish and sprinkle with half of the remaining mozzarella.
- Add rest of pasta mixture, top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
- Make sure to grease the baking dish well to avoid sticking.
