Description

Delicious puff pastry bites filled with apples and brie cheese, perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 small apples (peeled, cored and cut into thin slices)
  • 4 ounces brie cheese (cut into small one-inch pieces)
  • 1 piece egg (whisked for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 16 equal squares.
  3. Place 3 to 4 thin apple slices on each pastry square, then top with a piece of brie.
  4. Gently fold the corners of the puff pastry into the center and press lightly to seal.
  5. Brush the tops of each pastry with the whisked egg.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and puffed.
