Description

Delicious and fluffy orange poppy seed muffins perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Juice of 1 orange

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, poppy seeds, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, oil, egg, orange zest, and orange juice.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fill muffin cups with the batter.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before serving.
