- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–2 drops red food coloring

Instructions
- Add the milk and heavy cream to a medium saucepan and heat over medium-high until it boils.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low.
- Stir in the sugar and white chocolate chips. Whisk until chocolate chips are completely melted and sugar is well combined.
- Remove from heat, then stir in the vanilla extract and red food coloring until evenly distributed.
- Ladle the hot Red Velvet Hot Chocolate into glasses and serve immediately, topped with desired garnishes.
