- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup toffee bits
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until well combined.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just incorporated.
- Fold in chopped pecans and toffee bits.
- Spread batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

- Ensure butter is softened to room temperature for better creaming.
